Glastonbury Festival 2009 - Worthy Farm, Pilton, Wednesday 24th-Sunday 28th June

Outdoor Rides and Games

Of course there is our everpresent Giant Enchanted Climbing Castle manned by the ideologically sound Woodcraft Folk who will be promoting UN Agenda 21 - The Right to Play. The beacon of the field is our 1930's giant wooden lighthouse  Helter Skelter alongside this we have a number of traditional fun-fair rides including Swingboats of all sizes, Mini Ferris Wheel, little Roundabouts, Sally’s famous Super Tramps trampolines and an Aerial Runway. We’ve also got Gyroscopes, Inflatafun, Maynell Games’ outdoor interactive games and Other World Arts with their Fairytale Garden and Maze. Clamber up the Foundry Mobile Climbing Wall, try out on Penwith Play’s Scramble, Chase & Climb Slide Inflatable or set off on a Gone Native mission in The Forest of Dreams with The Play Rangers.

There is only one commercial outlet in the field and that is the non-profit Mamas & Papas Cafe. The prices are low, the food is great and service comes with a smile. All the profits from the café will benefit SOS Children’s Villages, The World’s largest orphan charity.
