The Free University of Glastonbury is a eclectic programme of entertaining and enlightening talks that take place from midday-ish until 4pm in the Crow’s Nest at the top of the Park. Tea and exceedingly good cakes are served. The Free University is a wonderful place to unwind, take in the amazing view whilst listening to talks that cover everything from evolution to The Fall.
We kick-off each day with a Glastonbury themed chat show: James Endeacott’s Liquid Lunch. Legendary record label boss and A&R man James will be joined by a different guests each day (including Steve Lamacq and Will Hodgkinson, rock critic for The Times) to recommend bands to watch and to review the previous day’s performances. Our line-up also includes: Shaun Keaveny, Brix Smith, Robert Llwellyn, Matthew Herbert, Dr Alice Roberts, Matt Sewell, Pete Fowler, Andy Miller, Dylan Evans, Lucy Cooke and Mathew Clayton. Come and say hello.
