Glastonbury Festival 2009 - Worthy Farm, Pilton, Wednesday 24th-Sunday 28th June

Trash City: where the wild things are…

After a storming year in 2008, Trash City is BACK and badder than ever…

An apocalyptic dream-world straight from the pages of a 2000AD comic, where space pirates, bootleggers, illegal aliens and all the scum of the universe can come and party the night away…

Setting the scene is the legendary scrap-pile art and party collective Mutoid Waste Co. who have been creating iconic sculptural madness across the globe since the late 80’s. This year they will be unveiling their newest creation: a giant interactive pinball table-cum-music venue, in which the audience, as the pinball, gets catapulted through a series of incredible worlds, culminating in a giant light-up score board!

All of this, plus nightly Wacky Races-style mutant vehicle parades and a pyrotechnic outdoor spectacular!

Hosting mind-boggling interactive venues, featuring white-hot performance and music from some of the UK’s most talked-about underground acts…line-ups will be announced soon!

Open dusk ‘til dawn, Trash City will be taking Glastonbury back to it’s roots on the wild side…
