It was, it’s fair to say, quite a journey. But we overcame some almighty mechanical gremlins and, around 2am on the Sunday morning of this year’s Festival, the first ever edition of the Glastonbury Free Press come rolling off our vintage Heidelberg press in the Theatre & Circus fields.
Some 15,000 copies were distributed across the site by morning, all of which disappeared in double quick time, making the issue something of a collector’s item. But, if you did miss it, you can now download a PDF by clicking here.
We’d like to say a HUGE thanks to the entire Glastonbury Free Press team who went far beyond the call of duty to make the on-site newspaper happen. It might only have been one edition, but it was a beauty!
Onwards to 2014….
