John McHugh died today. He first worked at the Festival helping to build the second Pyramid in 1981. His suffering was bravely managed for the last few years of his life with the help of his marvellous family.
His continual input and charisma added great value to our Festival and even this year he managed to summon up enough energy to run some of the backstage activity. We will all miss you John and thank you for being here for so much of your adult life.
