This year, The Common – one of our wonderful south east corner areas – is channeling the Latin spirit of the Mayans. And how better to do that than with a giant tomato fight? You can be part of The Common’s epic Tomatina (aka ‘the fight of the tomatoes’) in The Temple at 6pm on the Sunday.
Inspired by a yearly Spanish tomato fight held to honour the saints, The Temple’s version will be hosted by Bearded Kitten and held in The Common beneath the backdrop of Mayan splendour at The Temple. And if you want even more messy hedonism, the weekend will also feature a UV paint powder fight.
Head to The Common’s area page to get the full lowdown on their amazing plans for this year’s Festival…
