2014 ticket resales, refund and delivery FAQ

7th May 2014

I’VE PAID THE FULL BALANCE OF MY TICKET BUT NOW I CAN’T MAKE THE FESTIVAL – CAN I GIVE MY TICKET TO A FRIEND?

No. Tickets for Glastonbury Festival are personalised with a photo of the ticket holder and cannot be transferred to another recipient. Any tickets we suspect are being offered for sale will be cancelled and admission to the Festival refused.

I’VE PAID THE FULL BALANCE OF MY TICKET BUT NOW I CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE FESTIVAL – CAN I GET A REFUND?

If you are unable to come to the Festival, and require a refund for your tickets you can request this at https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice or by calling See Tickets on 0844 412 4626 before 11.59pm on May 9th 2014. A £15 administration charge will be retained from all refunded tickets. (If cancelling a coach package an additional £10 is retained from your coach fare). For refund enquiries, please email glastonbury@seetickets.com).

WHAT HAPPENS TO REFUNDED TICKETS AFTER MAY 9TH? WILL THERE BE ANOTHER RESALE?

The number of tickets expected to be cancelled is very few, so there won’t be another announced resale. Once any cancellations have been processed, they will be released by See Tickets in the week commencing 12th May. These releases will not be announced. Anyone wishing to buy a ticket from these cancellations is advised to keep checking glastonbury.seetickets.com. These tickets and coach packages will be very limited in number, and only on select routes where a cancellation has made a seat available on one of their existing coaches. These tickets and coach packages are entirely non-refundable and non-transferable, so please only book if you are 100% certain you will be able to attend, and travel on the coach you are booking, as travel on the coach will be mandatory in order to receive your Festival tickets. Please do not book a coach package if it will require you to travel further to the Festival than is necessary.

CAN I BOOK A COACH SEAT FOR MY CHILD OR DEAF AND DISABLED PA TO TRAVEL WITH ME IF THEY DON’T HAVE A FESTIVAL TICKET?

All passengers including children aged 12 and under, and Personal Assistants allocated tickets under the Disabled PA scheme, must purchase a valid coach ticket in order to travel. If you are travelling with children aged 12 or under, who do not require an entry ticket for the festival, or a PA allocated tickets by the Disabled Access Coordinator you will need to contact coachtravel@seetickets.com upon completing your booking in order to enquire about additional coach seats (NB: standard fares apply). Please note Coach Seats are now severely limited, and See cannot guarantee there will be any availability on your coach. See Tickets also cannot guarantee all coaches will have wheelchair access and storage facilities. If you require wheelchair access or wheelchair storage you must contact coachtravel@seetickets.com no later than 30 days prior to departure to ensure the appropriate facilities can be provided.

CAN I STILL BOOK A CAMPERVAN, TIPI OR CAR PARK TICKET?

Campervans and tipis are now sold out, but car park tickets remain available. You can book a car park ticket online at http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2014/worthy-farm/800011/ or by calling 0844 412 4626.

WHEN WILL MY TICKETS BE SENT OUT?

It is expected that you will receive your tickets at least 14 days before the Festival starts.

– General admission ticket dispatch will begin week commencing 12th May
– eTickets for coach packages will be emailed, again, week commencing 12th May.

You will be able to obtain your tracking reference via See Tickets’ order tracker.  Please note to access the order tracker you will require your email address and booking reference number (this is not the same as your registration number).

You can track your ticket order via www.royalmail.com by entering your tracking reference number.

If you are not at home when your tickets arrive, a card will be left giving you instructions on how to arrange re-delivery (including weekend delivery options) or pick them up from your local collection office

If you ordered more than one ticket, your tickets will be dispatched to the address you provided for the first name on your booking. If you paid your balances separately, you will each receive your own ticket.

If you have not received your tickets by 9am on Monday, 23rd June please contact See Tickets on 0844 412 4626.

Unfortunately, if tickets are delivered to ticket holders, and subsequently lost, destroyed or misplaced, we cannot replace them.

CAN I CHANGE THE ADDRESS MY TICKETS ARE BEING SENT TO?

Tickets are now being prepared for dispatch to the address specified when making your booking. Please contact See Tickets on 0844 412 4626 by 9th May if you need to amend your delivery address. A signature will be required at the point of the delivery.

CAN I GET A REFUND AFTER MAY 9TH?

Only if you took out ticket cancellation protection, and your reason for not being able to attend is covered by the terms of the policy.

If you have not taken out ticket cancellation protection, or your reason for being unable to attend is not covered by the protection policy, you will not be able to claim a refund after the deadline of May 9th.

TicketPlan Protection provides cover for a range of unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you being able to attend the Festival. A PDF summary of the Terms and Conditions is available here: http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/ticketplan-terms.

Please note that TicketPlan Protection will not cover the loss of your ticket, or any circumstances which could be considered foreseeable (e.g. examinations, pre-arranged medical procedures or work commitments). Alternatively, you may wish to check whether your ticket is covered by your own personal insurance. To initiate a claim, please contact the Ticketplan helpline on 0844 884 1031.

WHAT IF I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

You can access information regarding your ticket booking, including details of ticket dispatch, online at https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice using your booking reference number and email address or postcode.
