The Sistxrhood returns to Shangri-La for 2023! It’s a Flint Venue, and open only to femme (or female), lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans people. Committed to empowering and showcasing womxn, non-binary and gender-nonconforming artists in the music, arts, culture and nightlife industries; improving gender equality through policy and programming, their doors are wide open to sistxrs craving intersectional feminism in action, banging music and the chance to amplify creativity and brilliance in each other.

The Sistxrhood is run by a collective of collectives made up of Sista Selecta, Sensory Alchemists, Queerky, Misscoteque and Sistxrhood Clubhouse.

Misscotque
Expect dusty old skool disco, euphoric sounds across the spectrum of UK bass genres, and a huge warm rush of radical queer joy!

Queerkey
Playing all flavours of techno ranging from electronica, breaks, berlin, hard-style, and house.

Sistxrhood Clubhouse
Sistxrhood Clubhouse bring trans power and queer punk vibes to your Friday night. That Ray hosts a Trans Cabaret where the hottest trans performers give you outstanding drag, weird live art and gorgeous music. DJ TAMBOI curates a banging club showcasing some of the North’s most radical DJ collectives. Expect disco, global bass and belt your heart out classics.

Mixing through many genres including jungle, afro/tech, dancehall, tropical beats, hip hop and avant-pop.
