The Joint Charities ‘Extraordinary Stories’

Glastonbury’s Joint Charities unite this year under a message of hope – ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Whilst the impact of the climate crisis is felt most by those least responsible, it can be easy to feel despondent…but this year, on this special weekend, we want to showcase the amazing, inspiring stories of resilience, creativity, and the power of collective action. Across the Festival site and specifically at The Meeting Place you can hear the stories of those fighting for change.

The Meeting Place

Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid would like to invite Glasto goers to join them at the Meeting Place to also share your extraordinary stories – we want to champion people championing for change, to hear stories that have changed you and others, plus how we can write a new story together to make the world a better place. This will be a space where you can also talk and engage in new ideas with ‘strangers’ (not for too long), so come and say hello so we can have open conversations and how we can all build a better future together.

Good Deed Bingo!

To keep to the theme of creating new stories together, this year at Glastonbury, the Joint Charities are bringing with us Good Deed Bingo! Pay us a visit at our Pyramid Stop and we will give you a good deed to go away with. Let’s spread the message around the Festival that little good deeds can go a long way. To get involved in our active climate campaigns, come and say hello to us near the Pyramid Stop near the Pyramid Stage. Here you can add your voice to help people and climate, talk about voting for a greener future and also on how you can get involved with us. You can also grab water here at the WaterAid kiosk.

Together, we can unite and bring about a better tomorrow. For more info on Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid please head to our websites below.
