Glastonbury Festival Of Contemporary Performing Arts - News - Maura Kincaid into Emerging Talent Contest Final

We're pleased to announce that the last spot in this year's Emerging Talent Contest Final has been bagged by Maura Kincaid, who won a public vote on Q's website. The Brighton-based band (whose name is pronounced "More-ah kin-kayd") say: "We want to fill the skies over Glastonbury with a sound so spectacular that the cows levitate overhead and the earth dries beneath you're very feet." The invite-only finals will be held at the Pilton Working Men's Club on March 27, 28 and 29, with the winners being offered a main stage slot at this year's Festival. The eleven other finalists - selected by the ETC judges - are as follows:
