Shelter team up with John Peel Field

June 3, 2009

For the second year running, The John Peel Field is supporting Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity. John supported Shelter throughout his life, and the Festival is proud to continue the partnership.

Shelter helps people in desperate housing need, and campaigns tirelessly for affordable housing for all. This year, the focus will be their exciting ‘House of Cards’ campaign including the haunting film backed by Radiohead (Shelter.org.uk/cards).

Also for 2009, Shelter has teamed up with ethical fashion label Komodo to produce an organic T-shirt featuring an iconic image of the great man himself. Jaime Winstone (pictured above) and many others have already got their hands on one and you can buy this Glastonbury exclusive for just £20 from the special Shelter stand in the John Peel field. and help his legacy of support live on.
