Ticket refund, resales and delivery FAQ

May 30, 2013

May 30 update: 60% of tickets have now been sent out. They’re all due to be delivered by June 12th

I’VE PAID THE FULL BALANCE OF MY TICKET BUT NOW I CAN’T MAKE THE FESTIVAL – CAN I GIVE MY TICKET TO A FRIEND?

No. Tickets for Glastonbury Festival are personalised with a photo of the ticket holder and cannot be transferred to another recipient. Any tickets we suspect are being offered for sale will be cancelled and admission to the Festival refused.

I’VE PAID THE FULL BALANCE OF MY TICKET BUT NOW I CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE FESTIVAL – CAN I GET A REFUND?

If you are unable to come to the Festival, and require a refund for your tickets you can request this at https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice or by calling Seetickets on 0844 412 4626 before midnight May 3rd 2013. A £10 administration charge will be retained from all refunded tickets. For refund enquiries, please email glastonbury@seetickets.com.

WHAT HAPPENS TO REFUNDED TICKETS AFTER MAY 3RD? WILL THERE BE ANOTHER RESALE?

The number of tickets expected to be cancelled is very few, so there won’t be another resale, however Seetickets will be releasing a few more coach packages.

The final few coach packages will be released during the course of the week commencing 6th May. These packages will be released via glastonbury.seetickets.com. These releases will not be announced. Anyone wishing to buy them is advised to keep checking See’s website.

These coach packages will be very limited in number, and only on select routes where a cancellation has made a seat available on one of their existing coaches. The final few coach packages will be released during the course of the week commencing 6th May. These tickets are entirely non-refundable and non-transferable, so please only book a coach package if you are 100% certain you will be able to travel on the coach you are booking, as travel on the coach will be mandatory in order to receive your Festival tickets. Please do not book a coach package if it will require you to travel further to the Festival than is necessary.

CAN I BOOK A COACH SEAT FOR MY CHILD OR DEAF AND DISABLED PA TO TRAVEL WITH ME IF THEY DON’T HAVE A FESTIVAL TICKET?

Yes if you are planning on taking a child aged 12 or under, who will not require an entry ticket for the festival, or are applying for a PA ticket from the disabled access coordinator, and are requiring additional coach travel – please contact Seetickets once you have completed your booking at coachtravel@seetickets.com. Please include your Ticket & Coach reference number, a contact number and your name. Seetickets will call you back in order to purchase your additional coach seats (NB: standard fares apply). All passengers including children aged 12 and under, and PAs must purchase a valid coach ticket in order to travel. Under no circumstances can a coach package ticket be exchanged for a standard admission ticket. Please note coach places will be limited, so we advise you to contact Seetickets as soon as possible. Please also note that unfortunately we cannot guarantee any See coach will have the required wheelchair access and storage facilities. If you are taking a wheelchair to Glastonbury, we would advise against booking coach travel in this instance.

CAN I STILL BOOK A CAMPERVAN, TIPI OR CAR PARK TICKET?

Campervans and tipis are now sold out, but car park tickets remain available. You can book a car park ticket online or by calling 0844 412 4626

As tickets are now in the process of dispatch so we are no longer able to facilitate any changes of delivery address.

CAN I GET A REFUND AFTER MAY 3RD?

Only if you took out ticket cancellation protection, and your reason for not being able to attend is covered by the terms of the policy.

If you have not taken out ticket cancellation protection, or your reason for being unable to attend is not covered by the protection policy, you will not be able to claim a refund after the deadline of May 3rd.
