UPDATE: Following the sale on the morning of Saturday, 10th November, Sunday tickets for local residents have now sold out.
Sunday tickets for Glastonbury Festival are available exclusively to Mendip & Central Somerset residents. This wider catchment area includes residents of towns such as Bruton, Frome & Radstock, which fall outside the local full weekend ticket catchment, but who may still experience some inconvenience during the Festival period.
This is a great opportunity for those who are unable to go to the whole event or who have been unsuccessful in purchasing full weekend tickets to attend the Festival for the day, on Sunday 30th June 2019.
Sunday tickets for local residents will go on sale from 9am, Saturday 10th November from glastonbury.seetickets.com.
A condition for the sale of these tickets is that travel to the Festival site is by bus only.
The ticket price (£90) includes travel by bus to and from the site from the following local towns: Castle Cary, Cheddar, Frome, Radstock, Glastonbury, Midsomer Norton, Shepton Mallet, Street and Wells.
Morning pick-ups from each location are at 9:30am and 11am, with several return buses to each location leaving the Festival, up until 12:30am.
Sunday tickets are strictly non-transferable. As such, each ticket will feature the photograph of the registered ticket holder with security checks carried out to ensure that only the person in the photograph is admitted to the Festival.
Every person (aged 13 or over) who intends to purchase a Sunday ticket must have their own valid registration number.
Registration is free of charge and only takes a few moments. If you do not yet have a Glastonbury Festival registration number, you will need to register online at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk before applying for Sunday Tickets. (Registration will reopen on 1st November)
Children aged 6-12 are admitted free, but require a pre-booked bus ticket, which is charged at £10, however they do not need to register in order to book a bus ticket. Children under 6 travel free, and do not require any tickets.
Please have your debit / credit card number (with security number from back of card) available when booking, and the detail of the ticket delivery address, including the postcode.
Any cancellations up to 3rd May will incur a £10 per ticket admin fee (exc. child bus seats). Sunday tickets are non-refundable after the 3rd May cancellation deadline. You may wish to purchase the optional TicketPlan Booking Refund Protection so that a refund of the value of your Sunday Ticket can be provided to you if you cannot attend the Festival due to the circumstances set out in the Terms and Conditions. Refund Protection is subject to an additional charge of £2.50 per ticket. Click here to download a PDF of the TicketPlan Booking Refund Protection Summary for Sunday tickets.
Refund Protection provides cover for a range of specified unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you being able to attend the Festival. Alternatively, you may wish to check whether your ticket is covered elsewhere.
Full Terms and Conditions of Sunday Tickets can be found here.
FULL WEEKEND TICKETS FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS
UPDATE: Following the two sales, the local residents’ tickets have now sold out.
Michael Eavis has once again held back a number of full weekend tickets for local people who were not successful in buying tickets when they went on sale.
The local ticket sale will take place at 12 noon, Thursday 18th October, 2018, online at glastonbury.seetickets.com/go/gf19local
We’re pleased to confirm an extra chance to book has now also been added at 10am, Saturday 20th October, which will also take place online at glastonbury.seetickets.com/go/gf19local.
The local ticket sale is a second chance for local residents who were unsuccessful in the coach and general admission ticket sales (4th and 7th October 2018 respectively) to book tickets.
As such, anyone wishing to purchase tickets in this sale must already be a registered full time, permanent resident within the catchment, which covers:
Alford, Allhampton, Ansford, Ashcott, Ashwick, Baltonsborough, Barton St David, Binegar, Butleigh, Castle Cary, Coleford, Cranmore, Croscombe, Dinder, Ditcheat, Doulting, East Pennard, Emborough, Evercreech, Glastonbury, Holcombe, Leigh on Mendip, Lovington, Lydford, North Wootton, Oakhill, Pilton, Pylle, Shepton Mallet, Stoke St Michael, Street, Walton, Wells, West Bradley, West Pennard.
The local ticket sale allows local residents to take advantage of the Festival’s ticket deposit scheme, meaning only a deposit of £50 per ticket will be payable in the local ticket sale, with the balance payable 1st – 7th April.
Any tickets for which the balance is not paid will be refunded £30 of their deposit, and a £20 admin fee per ticket will be retained.
You may purchase up to four tickets per transaction provided all those for whom you are booking are registered to an address in the area specified above and are full time, permanent residents of the property. Any bookings suspected to have been booked in breach of this will be cancelled.
In order to preserve the local ticket sale, registration will be suspended in advance and throughout the local sale period. If you are not already registered, you will not be able to book tickets in this sale. Registration will reopen only on 1st November 2018.
The local ticket catchment boundary line is arbitrated at the discretion of the Festival,
The Festival’s decision on eligibility is final. A map of the eligible areas can be found below.
Children aged 12 and under, when accompanied by a ticket holding adult, are admitted free and do not need a ticket.
When booking, you will need to quote the registration number and postcode of each person, and the name they registered under. Please have your debit / credit card number (with security number from back of card) available when booking, and the detail of the ticket delivery address, including the postcode.
