FULL WEEKEND TICKETS FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS
Michael Eavis once again held back a number of full weekend tickets for local people as a second chance for those residents who were unsuccessful in the coach and general admission ticket sales (3rd and 6th October 2019 respectively) to book tickets.
The local ticket sale took place from 9am, Sunday 27th October, 2019. In response to the ever increasing demand for local tickets for the 2019 Festival, the allocation of tickets set aside for local residents was further increased for the 2020 Festival. Local tickets are sold out, with all local tickets having rolled over to 2022.
The local ticket sale allowed local residents to take advantage of the Festival’s ticket deposit scheme, meaning only a deposit of £50 per ticket was payable in the local ticket sale, with the balance payable 1st – 7th March 2022.
Permanent full time residents living and registered in the following towns and villages within the inner zone were eligible to book tickets from 9am:
Doulting, East Pennard, Glastonbury, North Wootton, Pilton, Pylle, Shepton Mallet, West Bradley, West Pennard.
Permanent full time residents living and registered in the following towns and villages within the outer zone were eligible to book tickets from 10am:
Alford, Allhampton, Ansford, Ashcott, Ashwick, Baltonsborough, Barton St David, Binegar, Butleigh, Castle Cary, Coleford, Cranmore, Dinder, Ditcheat, Emborough, Evercreech, Holcombe, Leigh-upon-Mendip, Lovington, Lydford, Oakhill, Stoke St Michael, Street, Walton, Wells, plus residents of the inner zone.
A map of the eligible areas can be found below. The local ticket catchment boundary lines are arbitrated at the discretion of the Festival. The Festival’s decision on eligibility is final, and any tickets found to be purchased using false information will be cancelled.
Any tickets for which the balance is not paid will be refunded £25 of their deposit, and a £25 admin fee per ticket will be retained.
All usual Festival ticket terms and conditions apply. For more information head to our Ticket Info Page.
Tickets for Glastonbury Festival are strictly non-transferable.
Sunday tickets for Glastonbury Festival are available exclusively to Mendip & Central Somerset residents. This wider catchment area includes residents of towns such as Bruton, Frome & Radstock, which fall outside the local full weekend ticket catchment, but who may still experience some inconvenience during the Festival period.
This is a great opportunity for those who are unable to go to the whole event or who have been unsuccessful in purchasing full weekend tickets to attend the Festival for the day, on Sunday 28th June 2020.
Sunday tickets for local residents went on sale from 11am, Sunday 27th October 2019 from glastonbury.seetickets.com
A condition for the sale of these tickets is that travel to the Festival site is by bus only.
The ticket price (£95) includes travel by bus to and from the site from the following local towns: Castle Cary, Frome, Radstock, Glastonbury, Midsomer Norton, Shepton Mallet, Street and Wells.
Morning pick-ups from each location are at 9:30am and 11am, with several return buses to each location leaving the Festival, up until 12:30am.
Sunday tickets are strictly non-transferable. As such, each ticket will feature the photograph of the registered ticket holder with security checks carried out to ensure that only the person in the photograph is admitted to the Festival.
Every person (aged 13 or over) who intends to purchase a Sunday ticket must have their own valid registration number.
Children aged 6-12 are admitted free, but require a pre-booked bus ticket, which is charged at £15, however they do not need to register in order to book a bus ticket. Children under 6 travel free, and do not require any tickets.
Please have your debit / credit card number (with security number from back of card) available when booking, and the detail of the ticket delivery address, including the postcode.
Any cancellations up to 6th May 2022 will incur a £10 per ticket admin fee (exc. child bus seats). Sunday tickets are non-refundable after the 6th May 2022 cancellation deadline. You may wish to purchase the optional TicketPlan Booking Refund Protection so that a refund of the value of your Sunday Ticket can be provided to you if you cannot attend the Festival due to the circumstances set out in the Terms and Conditions. Refund Protection is subject to an additional charge of £2.65 per ticket. Click here to download a PDF of the TicketPlan Booking Refund Protection Summary for Sunday tickets.
Refund Protection provides cover for a range of specified unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you being able to attend the Festival. Alternatively, you may wish to check whether your ticket is covered elsewhere.
