Bristol Bus Station service
National Express run a direct coach service between Bristol Bus Station and the festival coach station (in 2014 it began at 4:30am on Wednesday 25th June). Fares can be booked on the National Express website or by calling 08717 81 81 81 – 24/7 (calls cost 10p per minute)
Bus from Castle Cary train station
There's a free shuttle bus for Festival ticket holders running between Castle Cary Station and the Festival Bus Station throughout the Festival. The bus station is next to Pedestrian Gate A. The shuttle operates from Wednesday to Monday (there is no service during the night when trains aren't running). The buses serve all the main train arrivals throughout the day on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, they run from 09:00 to 17:00 (approx) and on Sunday they run from 08:00 to 20:00 (approx). The Monday service starts at 03:00 and the last bus from the Festival to Castle Cary Station will be at 17:00. Remember you will need your Festival ticket to use the bus service to the site.
Bus from Bristol Temple Meads
The Festival will operate a bus service from Bristol Temple Meads railway station on Wednesday and Thursday 09:00 -19:00. In 2014 it cost £15 for a single. A return service will operate on Sunday 14:00 to 22:00 and Monday 0600 to 1900 (again, in 2014, it cost £15 for a single). This is a limited service and although journey times are usually around 70 minutes, it can take over 2 hours.
Glastonbury town bus shuttle
The Festival will run a bus service from Glastonbury town to the site on Wednesday 07:00-21:30 and Thursday between 07:00-21:00 ,on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 07:00-01:30 and on Monday between 06:00-18:00 The charge in 2014 was £4 single. (This price covers costs only and the service is non profit-making.)
Shepton Mallet bus shuttle
The Festival will also run a service to Shepton Mallet daily from Wednesday to Monday. Details available on timetable. The fare in 2014 was £2 single.
