For the last hour of our Worthy FM 2023 broadcast we produced a tribute to our longest serving presenter Daddy Teacha.
Teacha died after a short illness in May. He presented his first show in 1992 and never missed a broadcast since. His reggae shows were popular all around the festival site. Teacha presented his last show at 11pm on ‘exit Monday’ in 2022. We have captured memories from those who loved and worked with him, and have delved into the archives of his shows to bring you this very special tribute which was played out at 11pm on Monday 26th June 2023.
