Following the success of the acclaimed NYC Downlow, radical set designers Block9 are back with a brand new late-night party zone at Glastonbury Festival.
Come and explore this late night wonderland of incredible creations and serious sound systems from sunset to sunrise.

The London Underground
The crowning glory of the Block9 field is the brand new London Underground. A sinister, decaying tower block with a blazing tube train bursting from the top, this towering venue showcases the cream of London’s sound system underground. Black Market Records will curate Friday’s line up focusing on the emerging Dub-Step phenomenon. Saturday sees Yo-Yo tear it up featuring The Nextmen and some very special guests and on Sunday The London Underground posse will be showcasing the finest reggae and dancehall from the last 30 years alongside the mighty Saxon Sound.
The NYC Downlow
Bigger and badder than ever before, the legendary NYC Downlow returns in 2010 continuing the mayhem it started four years ago. In this life-size ruin of an NYC tenement, the murky homo fantasies of the Downlow crew fuse to resurrect New York’s golden age. This year the DL are proud to invite Horse Meat Disco and London’s best vintage DJ’s back for a fourth year running. Expect disco, soul, funk and early house all night every night with live shows both inside the club and out in the field. Moustaches are available at the Porn Kiosk.
DogFacedGeisha
This new Hanamachi oasis within the debauched fields of Glastonbury, sees the re-invention of the lost entertainment arts of the Dogfacegeishas. You can expect howling live bands, animal’s acting up and raw visual treats in this all-new all-night manga shop/bar, where japanese freakery fornicates with uk underground artists. An alternative to the alternative.
